The City of Navasota Texas honored the memory of Mance Lipscomb by naming a park in his honor. The bluesfest organization is requesting donations for a life-size bronze statue of Mance Lipscomb to be placed in that park. A young artist has made a small model of his plan for the sculpture (shown here). We are requesting donations to pay the artist and the bronze foundry. The Bluesfest organization is devoted to honoring the memory of Mr. Lipscomb, educating the public about him, and preserving the traditional music that Mance shared with the world during his life. This statue will help accomplish these goals for many years.

As a nonprofit organization devoted to educating future generations of the legacy of Mance Lipscomb in the history of Navasota and Texas, we are pleased to provide receipts to donors for their tax-exempt contributions.
