Perry Gamble

Perry graduated from Navasota High School with a GPA of 4.59. He has been accepted at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas and plans to study
Animal Science. Perry hopes then to attend Texas A&M University Veterinarian College in Bryan or LSU Vet College in Louisanan and become a
Veterinarian. He would like to relocate to Kentucky and continue his passion for horses as a vet for a horse training center or race. Eventually he would
like to own a ranch in Texas specializing in equine and cattle production.

Daniel Nunez

Daniel plans on attending Stephen F. Austin University and studying Music Education and Performance. He is interested in a career as a teacher. Daniel just graduated from Navasota High School with a gpa of 5.81. He was very active in school activities; was student council senior class vice-president; was in the National Honor Society and vice-president for 2 years. was on the Superintendent's Council of Presidents for 2 years and won many awards for different competitions.He was in the NHS band for his four years of high school (two of those years as drum major) winning many honors on clarinet and alto sax in local and regional competitions.
Jamie Santee

Jamie is the great-great granddaughter of Mance Lipscomb. She graduated from Alief Elsik High School in 2009 in the top five percent of her class. She is currently attending the University of Houston Downtown, majoring in Pharmacy. Jamie is currently employed by Methodist Sugar Land Hospital.

Courtney Sanders

Courtney, the daughter of Rev. John and Teresa Sanders, was the Mance Lipscomb Scholarship 2008 winner. Fall of 2009 Courtney will start her second year at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. After finishing the year she plans to transfer to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. She is majoring in education and plans on being a teacher of pre-school children. Courtney would like to teach in Navasota or the Cypress schools.
Jasmine Sade' Walls

Jasmine is the great-great granddaughter of Mance Lipscomb. She graduated from Eisenhower High School in Houston, Texas and atternded Prairie View A&M University last year, majoring in Nursing Medical Assistant and minoring in Business. She has been on the Dean’s List the entire year.
Jason Holiday

Jason graduated from Navasota High School and attended the University of Houston to major in Political Science and then on to law school. He held a 4.52 grade point average in school. Jason was in the National Honor Society and the Navasota High School Rattler Band and active in many other school activities.
Ashley Elizabeth Craddock

Ashley was the 2006 Scholarship Winner, She attended Blinn College in Bryan and then transferred to the University of North Texas in Denton, where she is pursuing a bachelor of art degree in Dance with a minor in Business and a secondary teacher’s certificate. Selected to the Univeristy of North Texas President’s List in 2008 and 2009, Ashley has a 4.0 gpa. She is also a member of Chi Tau Epsilon Dance Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

MARK KASPAR - 2005 Mance Lipscomb Scholarship Winner
In May 2009 Mark Kaspar was given The Citadel Brigadier Foundation. Inc. President's Award. This award is presented annually by The Citadel Brigadier Foundation, Inc. to the Senior Athlete who has brought credit to himself and The Citadel as a member of a Citadel Athletic team. Mark has earned his Bachelors degree at The Citadel in Charleston, S.C.
MAURITA HENDERSON - 2004 Mance Lipscomb Scholarship Winner
Maurita is still attending Sam Houston University in Huntsville where she is majoring in Criminal Justice and minoring in Psychology.
PRISCILLA JOHNSON - 2003 Scholarship Winner.
She graduated from Sam Houston University in Huntsville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management. In May, 2009 Priscilla earned a Master’s in Business Administration Degree with national Beta Gamma Sigma Honors and is now working on her doctorate.
TIFFANY WOODARD - 1996 Winner of Mance Lipscomb Scholarship
Tiffany has graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and will continue work on her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Prairie View University this coming spring.
CHERITA THOMAS –1994 Winner of Mance Lipscomb Scholarship
Cherita has graduated from Texas Southern University in Houston with a Degree in Biology and is now working towards her PhD at NASA Ames Research Center and Stanford University Genome Technology Center in California.
KENDRA NELMS – 2001 Winner of Mance Lipscomb Scholarship
Kendra has graduated from Texas University at Arlington with a degree in Nursing.
KIMBERLY JOHNSON – 2000 Winner of Mance Lipscomb Scholarship
Kimberly has graduated from Blinn Jr. College with an Associates Degree in Medical Office Administration.
FELICIA CREEKS – 1997 Winner of Mance Lipscomb Scholarship
Felicia has graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and is now teaching school. She hopes to go back to school at some point to get a Master’s Degree.
